Meiner Erfahrung nach können sich Limnologen blitzschnell das erforderliche Wissen aus Mathematik und Informatik aneignen, wohingegen andersherum Mathematiker und Informatiker über Jahre hinweg große Probleme haben, sich in die Biologie und Limnologie einzuarbeiten, weil ihnen einfach das Prozessverständnis fehlt."
