Bio

I am a postdoctoral fellow at the TUM School of Computation, Information and Technology at Technische Universität München (TUM), working with Prof. Chunyang Chen. I received my PhD from The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) in early 2024, under the supervision of Prof. Michael R. Lyu. From July 2021 to January 2022, I interned at Microsoft Research Asia (MSRA), where I was supervised by Prof. Yanlin Wang. Prior to my time at CUHK, I was a master’s student at the Graduate School of Information Sciences at Tohoku University from 2015 to 2017, supervised by Prof. Konyo Masashi. Before my master’s degree, I completed my bachelor’s degree in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Tohoku University from 2012 to 2015, earning the qualification for early graduation.

Research Interest

My primary research interests include Artificial Intelligence for Software Engineering, particularly large language models, source code understanding and analysis, code generation, and vulnerability detection. Currently I have four thesis project for master students in TUM, listing as below:

  1. Multi-agent Large Language Model for software vulnerability detection
  2. Repo-level Software Vulnerability Detection with Large Language Model
  3. Route Large Languag Model for Software Engineering
  4. The Hallucination of Large Language Model in Software Engineering

Feel free to reach out if you're interested in research opportunities at TUM, whether it's on the topics mentioned above or any other subjects related to AI4SE. :)
