Investigating EU AI Act Compliance Checkers on the Market
Bachelor & Master Thesis
With the European AI Act entering into force and gradually applying over time, AI product providers may find it challenging to meet complex compliance requirements, especially for small companies and citizen developers that lack legal knowledge. To address these needs, an emerging market of AI Act compliance checkers has begun offering automated compliance checking for AI products. However, the status quo of such tools remains unclear.
This project aims to comprehensively study and assess these compliance checking tools to provide a clear picture of their capabilities, reliability, and limitations. The students are supposed to conduct a comprehensive assessment of the EU AI Act compliance checkers on the market. This project is expected to offer valuable insights for industrial developers, researchers, and governments regarding AI regulatory compliance practices.
