Thesis Supervision
My work revolves around development of our particle simulation library, AutoPas. Among other things, I work on creating new algorithms, dynamic algorithm selection methods, and improving energy efficiency in high-performance computing (HPC). I also explore applying these techniques across various application areas, such as Molecular Dynamics, Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics, and the Discrete Element Method.
Each semester, I typically supervise 2-3 student theses. If you're interested in any of these topics, feel free to reach out via email! Please mention your area of interest, any relevant experience with HPC, and your programming skills.
You can also explore a list of potential thesis topics related to AutoPas here.
