Biography

Artificial intelligence and machine learning influence every aspect of our modern world. In my opinion, the responsibility of research is to maintain the human perspective on these approaches. Therefore, I focus on how humans and machines together can improve and learn. To further enhance the human-centered perspective, I investigate collaborative, privacy-preserving algorithms and explainability.

Therefore, my main research interests manifest in

- Hybrid Intelligence
- Human-centered Generative AI (especially for LLMs)
- Federated Learning
- Health Information Systems
