KI-Briefing Panel on Ethics and Fairness in AI
Earlier this week, I (Nils Ness) had the opportunity to take Ali Sunyaev's seat in a panel discussion on ethics, fairness, and risk in AI at the KI-Briefing held at the Innovation Park Artificial Intelligence (IPAI) Heilbronn. The event was part of a broader upskilling initiative by GovTech Campus Deutschland, aimed at equipping public sector employees with practical knowledge on AI.
Over 100 participants from the Baden-Württemberg state government joined the session to explore current AI trends and real-world use cases in administration. Our panel brought together voices from research, tech, and Industry to discuss how ethical principles can guide the responsible implementation of AI in government.
It was great to represent TUM Campus Heilbronn and contribute a research perspective to the conversation. Events like these show how important it is to bridge the gap between technology, policy, and society.
