In this seminar we will discuss the current state of the art in differentiable rendering. Differentiable rendering is in particular used to generate geometric models and estimate material properties from given images of these models, and to perform novel view synthesis, i.e., generating model representations from images so that novel views from arbitrary camera poses can be rendered.
Students will select a paper from a set of papers from the field, write a brief summary of the major findings presented in the paper, and finally give a presentation in which proposed methodology is introduced to the audience. The number of participantes is limited to 8. Final presentations will be given in the scope of a block course at the end of the semester.
