Motivation
As sustainability becomes increasingly important, sustainability assessments of business processes are becoming important. Process mining presents an opportunity for automating these assessments by integrating sustainability data within event logs. Quantifying this integrated data is essential for conducting automated assessments. This research focuses on identifying data sources to streamline assessments, reduce manual effort, and leverage process mining to provide actionable insights that promote sustainable practices.
Research Objectives
- Identification of potential data sources to quantify sustainability data in an event log
- Generation of an event log including the identified data that can be used for process mining
Tasks
- Literature Review on business process sustainability data
- Identification of leading data sources to quantify sustainability data in event logs
- Generation of an event log including the identified data
- Analysis of the results and discuss finding
