Bio

Marcus Müller received his B.Sc. in Computer Science from the Regensburg University of Applied Sciences in 2021 and his M.Sc. from the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, in 2023.

He joined the Chair of Decentralized Information Systems and Data Management at TUM as a Ph.D. student in 2023. His research interests include efficient data structures, concurrency control, and buffer management.

Student Theses

If you are interested in a bachelor/master thesis under my supervision, take note of the following points and then feel free to e-mail me.

• I work on systems programming. Knowledge of C, C++, Rust, Zig, or similar is practically required.
• All my current research projects use Rust. Ideally, you are already familiar with it. If you have experience with C/C++, you can probably pick it up within a month.
• Include a grade report. A motivation letter or CV are not required.
