Bio

Marcus Müller received his B.Sc. in Computer Science from the Regensburg University of Applied Sciences in 2021 and his M.Sc. from the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, in 2023.

He joined the Chair of Decentralized Information Systems and Data Management at TUM as a Ph.D. student in 2023. His research interests include efficient data structures, concurrency control, and buffer management.

Student Theses

If you are interested in a bachelor/master thesis under my supervision, feel free to e-mail me if you meet these requirements:

• Experience with low-level/systems programming and preferably some experience in OS development
• Proficiency in the Rust programming language
  • In rare exceptions, doing your thesis in C or C++ is possible, if integrating with existing code requires it.
• Include a list of grades from TUMonline. A CV is not required.
• Include the phrase “novel abstractions” in the e-mail subject to indicate that you have taken note of this page.
