Objectives
At the end of the seminar, students have a general knowledge of different Blockchain technologies and their applications and limitations.
Description
This seminar will be conducted online only.
We study several Blockchain technologies (such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Hyperledger, IOTA, etc.) and their applications and use cases. We also study the challenges and limitations each technology faces and investigate the technique to mitigate the issues and extend their functionalities.
Prerequisites
Basic knowledge of distributed systems and fundamental computer programming experience are required.
