Bio
Anwar received his B.Sc (2008) from University of AJK, Pakistan, and M.Sc. (2012) from Hanyang University, South Korea both in Electrical Engineering with focus on communication networks and energy. During his stay in Korea, he was involved in Smart Homes/Buildings project sponsored by LS Industrial Solution (LSIS), a leading company to develop Smart Grid infrastructure in Korea. He also has the experience to work as a part-time researcher at Gyeonggi-do Regional Research Center (GRRC) on the Smart Grid project and as Lecturer at the Department of Electrical Engineering, MUST, Pakistan. Currently, he is working as a Ph.D. candidate in the Energy Informatics research group at the chair of Application and Middleware Systems, Technical University Munich (TUM). His research interests include Non-Intrusive Load Monitoring (NILM), Building to Building (B2B) and Building to Grid (B2G) infrastructures.
