M.Sc. Christian Reinbold

From March 2018 to August 2022 I have been a PhD student at the Computer Graphics and Visualization group of Prof. Rüdiger Westermann, working on techniques to support network analysis and comparison in the field of Deep Learning (eXplainable AI - XAI), as well as Integration of Deep Learning in 3D graphics applications. Regarding XAI, I investigated Feature Visualization and dimensionality reduction techniques used to visualize network feature spaces. In level-of-detail based voxel rendering, I proposed an encoder/decoder-based neural network architecture to super-sample pixels with view-dependent color bleeding artifacts. Further, I experimented with (deep) learning the global light transport of complex scenes containing participating media or scientific 3D volumes. Please abstain from thesis requests, as I am not an active member of the chair anymore.
