Interventional 3D Reconstruction
Abstract
During an intervention physicians assess the patient's anatomy, diseases and location of medical devices by acquiring angiographic views from varying C-arm angulations. Although navigating in a 3D environment, until now, only 2D projections of the patient`s anatomy are available during such interventions.
This project, therefore, focuses on methods that aim to provide the patient's 3D information with respect to the angiographic image sequences and as such allow a 3D display of the anatomy directly during an intervention for additional guidance.
