We are excited to announce the fourth edition of the Medical Augmented Reality Summer School 2024! The goal of MARSS24 is to again bring together the world’s experts in Medical AR, clinicians, companies, and talented academic researchers from all around the world, foster cooperation, and hopefully push the boundaries of Medical Augmented Reality. The event is co-organized by the Suzhou Institute for Advanced Research, University of Science and Technology of China (Prof. Dr. S.Kevin Zhou), the Technical University of Munich (Prof. Dr. Nassir Navab), and the Shang Jiaotong University (Prof. Dr. Guang-Zhong Yang).
For the first time, MARSS will be held outside of Europe at the Suzhou Institute for Advanced Research, University of Science and Technology of China in Suzhou, China from September 1st - 7th, 2024. The event consists of exciting talks by key opinion leaders from technical and medical research, lectures, workshops, and panel discussions. In addition, the attendees will participate in a hackathon in which individual groups will develop a Medical AR system prototype. The developed prototypes will be showcased within a "Demo Session" and the best projects will receive awards in the closing ceremony on the last day of the summer school program.
